To make anything come true, you must first dream

'Passion', a project of 18 adolescent elephants decorated by international artists showing in Faro, Algarve, Portugal.

'Entitled 'World - through the eyes of a child' , this project represents the way children see the world. A simple, innocent and harmonious shape as everything happens before their eyes.

A world full of hope and possibilities, without limitations.

We should look at the world through the eyes of children. Maybe the planet needs this more 'Irrational' view/way of thinking! We adults no longer dream of perfection as children do, and this is something essential.

To make anything come true, you must first dream.'

A22 toll hilariously turns out to be illegal

The A22 motorway toll saga continues with the charges being found to be illegal under EU law. For those not in the know, the A22 runs across the Algarve from the Spanish border to the West coast and takes traffic off the road of death, the old N125. Not so hilariously, the hideous over complication of these daft charges has left locals and tourists alike baffled, particularly on returning hire cars to the airport when it turns out to be impossible to pay before leaving the country.
The A22 motorway was funded by EU money and, without being an expert on the matter, it appears that you can't receive an EU grant and then go charging the local population for the same expenditure DOH!

Madeleine

Portuguese police look set finally to review the evidence in the disappearance of Madeleine McCann in 2007, after the involvement of officers from Scotland Yard.

Fingers crossed that there is progress and that the abductors are finally brought to justice.

To the vile people, sitting in the comfort of their own homes and posting judgemental comments on the web blaming the parents - shame on you.
